Congratulations to TOM HAGENSEN

A new star is born: TOM HAGENSEN :s_bravo:
Unbelievable scores in the 3x3x6 and 3x3x7.
He has a paticular way of playing.
It will need a lot of excersise to improve

Let\'s play BlockOut II !

Cheers,
Renato

Thankyou Renato

I have played the old Blockout on and off since 1990, and you can see some of my records on blockout.de.

The new BPM is very revealing and I am suprised how slow I am compared to you and a lot of the other guys.

Regards,
Tom

The economic efficiency of 3.9 MPB (radek also 3.9) really stands out.

Eventhough Renato and radek have commendable BPM\'s of around 50 and play significantly shorter games (under 2 min) ... TOM HAGENSEN is certainly a case of the tortoise making more haste and less speed !

23% of x2\'s is nothing short of miraculous !

It\'s all good.

delacroixp - you are right about me beeing slow. So I have to be carefull with the blocks to keep up with the faster players.

I just made a triple-flush in 3x3x6 extended, which is very rare. I think it was around 30.000 points !

I have uploaded the score - 93584.
Regards,
Tom

It\'s a shame that the excitement destroyed your concentration !

You\'ld probably have broken the 150,000 barrier.
(only 1 min but your BPM is up quite a bit)

It\'s all good !

Incredible... not only an x3 but a flush too !

It\'s all good !

Pascal

btw
I was wondering whether it were possible to programme the random generator to spew blocks for 3x3 (Basic & Extended) in such a way that there is always at least 1 solution.
It seams counter-productive that a game should end merely because the blocks wont fit (even on level 1) in any combination .
I sometimes play Spider Solitaire with 4 suites and in most cases there is no solution... regardless of how the cards are played.
At least one solution would seam to be more fair !

How does BPM influence the score ?
I looked at 2 games between Emperor and Renato on 7x7x10, Extended and speed seams to be a handicap or at least, counter-productive.

The 2 pie-charts couldn\'t be more different !

Nice number at 200,063 .

vanhaaften.lennart has a top score of 457,504 (same box and blocks) over at Blockout.de.
He also has the top 7 scores with kirner.ole the closest rival at 309,055 (67%).
vanhaaften.lennart seams to super-dominate most of the scores
(light years ahead of everyone else).

Blockout.net just looks wayy more professional.
A listing of the Top 10 Players rather than the Top 10 Scores would have looked better.
Ultimately, the competition is amongst players (blockout at home let\'s you post all the scores you can on your own PC) .

It\'s all good !

Closer to 23,000 (15,389 [x3] + 7,032 [flush]) !!!

That said, it\'s not often we get to see the \'green stuff\' in any variation of the Extended block set !

It\'s all good.
