OK, thanks for the link. I\'ll modify the
page. Unfortunately, I can\'t get exactly the number of key per block with the release 2.2 (the number of move displayed is just an estimation), I have to add this in the 2.3.
how would you most likely call a blockout piece?
I vote for block ;)

63.0 block/minutes. It goes very fast :woohoo:
But for the 700, it is just an estimation
(may be a bad estimation). I will add this
information in the replay of the 2.3.
Hope that i end the 2.3 during the week-end.

Anyway, what do you prefer for piece name : block/piece/tile/polycube/polyominoes/... ?

Post edited by: jlp_38, at: 2007/07/21 08:18

very Difficult :S
In french in prefer \"une pièce du jeu\"
parce que en francais un block c\'est plutot compact
polycube is too long
polyominoes too complex

but if i\'s to write on the advanced stats is not piece or block, for me is DROP

seems it is either piece or block. both words are 5 chars long - so it is equally well. and because this game is blockout, we should stay with block :-) with 2dtetris, i think piece is more common.

@JeanLuc: i sort of gave it up to extract the original dos-soundeffects, because with dosbox, the sound always differ a little bit (maybe because the emulator is somehow dynamic) but i can email you my recording trials. then you can decide if you would like to extract some sounds or not. but the best thing would be if someone here has an old dos machine, an original 286\'er and could record the original blockout sounds with a microphone (or by directly grabbing the signal from the internal speaker wires...)

Post edited by: Herc, at: 2007/07/21 21:29
