A picture is worth a thousand words. This video has 458 frames, so it won\'t make any difference, how much i write here... ;)

Try right click->save as...

The file is OK, at least gSpot has no complaints about it:

The video works on my comp, but I failed to notice anything unusual. The quality is pretty poor, so perhaps a few words on the problem wouldn\'t harm :)<br><br>Post edited by: Lieven, at: 2008/03/20 23:36

Does the rendering look normal to you?
Every piece is drawn 10 times per second at 10 different places... it\'s a mess ;)
Funny thing is, that i can\'t record this with FRAPS or similar programs. The rendering is OK then, just the framerate drops below 5 FPS (on A64 x2 4200, 6600GT).

although the video quality is bad, i too noticed the jumping / stuttering behaviour of the blocks.

how are you then able to play blockout at all ?

i suspect there is something totally wrong with your computer.

if you have an athlon64x2 4.2 ghz, then there should plenty of speed. and a 6600 gt should also be more than enough.

i suggest you running www.futuremark.com 3dmark06 and looking if your computer has a decent framerate with this benchmark.

maybe your graphics drivers are just wrong / buggy..

GuildWars runs just fine with 60FPS, i don\'t think there is a problem with speed.
Blockout starts with ~1000 FPS, but it drops to 15-18 within few seconds.
I have 2 displays, could this be a problem with nvidia\'s dualview?

Sometimes (after reset) the rendering is normal, just a bit slow.
After a while it looks like on the video...

i have a suggestion: please try the SDL version of blockout II. it is in some other thread here.
the sdl version uses openGL, and it might be that your problem is directx related. so if you use SDL and openGL, it might well be, that your problem will be gone. also, there is a vista-patch vor blockout. maybe this helps, too.

otherwise i would like you to test http://www.cubestorm.com and tell me if you also experience dropping frame rates. just to identify / encircle your problem.
