Hi.
Why is there only 36 gamers on the world ranking list on level " Out of control " and lowest points is only 34064.2 ?
http://www.blockout.net/blockout2/world ... etupid=458

Is there set a limit on the list?

Hos can we get more people in to the list?

Can BlockOut2 be converted to an online game so that it can get more people to play and upload their points to ranking lists ?

World ranking is an average of your 5 best games in the last two years. In other words: you have to have 5 games in the last two years to be on that list. Block Out is not played by that much people :)

Out of Control is tough to play, especially with complex pieces. I would say that anyone who's able to score 150K+ in Out of Control mode, is a good player of Blockout and can improve

There have been some extraordinary players in OOC. Check out scores made by Alistair Crowley (SC), Michael Rothe (MRo), Gosho Jambov and also by me as well. It needs something special to be able to score 350K+ in OOC and the key is to have BPM of 40+ alongwith good knowledge of 3D rotations

I have been a teacher for some years and challenge the whole school in BlockOut and most kids up to about 20 years have a hard time to get up to just 20 000 p.
No student have even been close to my score around 100 000 p.
And I am not sure they try Out of control .

But why is there not more people in the list?
Only 36 ????

Is it possible to make BlockOut2 , (with upload to the database) , as a online version so that more people get a chance to try it,
because this can be run in a browser but the ones I tried have no database to upload score.

I have tried to start challenges on forums but very rarelly get even answers.

I have contacted DreamHack and asked if we can start a challenge there this summer.

Or am I missing something?

Is there global BlockOut contests that I cant find?

20K is too less. When I started playing Blockout 2 around 2008, my 1st score which I uploaded was 67K in OOC and it was around 1.5 years later that I was able to score 200K+ in OOC and then last year I made 400K+

Online version of Blockout will be better and we can get more players too. Also that should be connected to the database here
