Re:Scoring Explained
63.0 block/minutes. It goes very fast :woohoo: But for the 700, it is just an estimation (may be a bad estimation). I will add this information in the replay of the 2.3. Hope that i end the 2.3 during the week-end. fredjust wrote: Bravo JP pour ce dévellopement impressionant mais comment fait tu tou...

Re:Scoring Explained
OK, thanks for the link. I\'ll modify the
page. Unfortunately, I can\'t get exactly the number of key per block with the release 2.2 (the number of move displayed is just an estimation), I have to add this in the 2.3.

This page is available from the online score db, you can access it by displaying the statistics popup and then click \"More\".
This page is still under construction.

Re:Scoring Explained
I\'m currently working on a detailed score analysis page. I\'ve ended the pie chart and it is already interesting to see how block points are
important.
I made the chart for 3DM and OOC, not FF as there is a bug.

Hi Fred,
Everybody can watch your replay. In the OnLine score page you can scroll up to the 100th score.

Re:Bug Reports go here
Yes the version number is checked and user who will try to upload a score made with an older release will receive a clear message, for instance:
\"Sorry, score made with the 2.2 cannot be uploaded\" or something like that.
So the cleaning of the database should not be a problem.

Re:Crash when pushing esc and enter
Hi,
Thanks for the report. Unfortunately i don\'t have Word at home  but i will have a look at this tomorrow.
I didn\'t manage to reproduce the crash.
May be a directX problem ???
Does it happen when you press [Enter] instead of [Esc] ?

Re:Bug Reports go here
Hi, As you may noticed there is a bug with the FLAT block set. It produces always the same sequence of block (Thanks to John VdC). It is due to the fact that the FLAT set has 8 pieces (=2^3 and it is catastrophic for LCG random generator). It does not happens with BASIC and EXTENDED. It would be fin...

Re:Image of the Day @ www.gamedev.net
Hi, Concerning the \"next piece\", I agree with Fred, In the classic blockout, you don\'t have it. So I agree to add it but with a score multiplier. Concerning transparent layers, i will make few test to see if it doesn\'t confuse too much rather than helping. I\'ll keep you informed. If y...

Re:Image of the Day @ www.gamedev.net
cool ! what i would like to see the most are different palettes. i.e. not only the 16 colour dos palette, but also palettes as with amiga blockout, lynx blockout or such (check the wiki - some screenshots should show up the different colours used in the different blockout versions). OK, i will add ...
