do you have the opengl packet installed ? i dont know linux very well, but i remember i had to manually install opengl sdk or development package using yast..

it looks like imagelib uses some assembler code to accelerate image loading. try to turn assembler optimization off (must be some #ifdef).
if that does not help, please wait till jeanluc is back from holidays in a few days.

well, jean luc, you always go for perfection ;-) i agree, a really good (and original blockout seems to have a quite good computer ai) ai would need path sarching and a complex evaluation function. but to get started, i would suggest to simply test all possible block rotations and positions and choo...

really cool! could you make a small screenshot showing blockout II running in a x-window ( i.e. a screenshot that makes it evident that Blockout II is now available for linux) ? - then i would write a new headline for the blockout.net page. i have no linux at hand, otherwise i would do it by myself....
