Hi,

I don\'t know if it exists a version of blockout which has the 2 players mode as the arcade version.
May be a next release of blockout II.<br><br>Post edited by: jlp_38, at: 2008/01/18 18:53

you can at least run the original arcade version in the emulator mame.

and maybe the playstation one version of blockout called \"geom cubes\" has a 2player mode, but i am not sure about.

Is Geom Cube a US only title? I\'m in the UK and my (far less than extensive) search has only revealed copies of the game available in the US.

It does seem it\'s a 2 player game - http://uk.gamespot.com/ps/puzzle/geomcube/index.html?tag=tabs;summary

this geom cube definitely has two player mode, i just looked up my own wiki-entry:

http://www.blockout.net/index.php?optio ... =geom_cube

the problem is, how can you get the game? i would suggest scanning ebay or such, because the game itself did not sell good and is kind of rare. but on ebay i saw it once for a very cheap price of 5$.

the other method would be to search via emule or bittorrent and download the image. it runs in an amiga emulator, but has some screen glitches.

the third method is to hope that jeanluc will add a two playermode in some upcoming version of blockout :-) but i think this would take much effort and time.

if you have a old playstation, i rather would suggest to somehow get your hands on that old game.

i am afraid that the playstation 1 has region code.
so you wont be able to run a US version in your UK version. in US they use ntsc. so if you have pal, you wont definitely not be able to run NTSC US games directly. you would need to install a mod chip, or try to buy a cheap US playstation. you should be able to grab a US playstation for less than 20 dollars.<br><br>Post edited by: Herc, at: 2008/01/19 18:28
