When do I get into the next level?

Hi Guys,
I found Blockout by accident on an old HDD 10 years ago and I think it\'s great.

I keep asking myself how Blockout decides when to take you to the next level. So, when I start at level 0 at what point does it switch to level 1 and when to level 2...

Couldn\'t find that out.

Who knows that?

Yeah, I found out myself (to be precise my bright friend and flatmate did).
You level up every 90 blocks played.
Different shapes have different amout of blocks, i.e. a \"L\" shape has 4.

If you start in a higher level, you stay at this level until you would have reached it. With this you can earn much more points, because a line is worth more in higher levels.

Greetings and thanks for the game again!

Hi!

I think the number of blocks per level depends on the pit size.
In OOC (5x5 pit) it\'s 150 blocks per level.

Hi,
In 2007 I asked the same question B)
(oh my god, I\'m getting old)
The answer is:

The level doesn\'t change in function of to the time but in function of the number of cubes played. The number of cube per level depends on the pit area.
The number of cube per level is equal to:
length*15 + width*15, which means that if you play in 5x5x10, the level will change every 5*15+5*15=150 cube, if you play in 3x4x17, the level will change every 3*15+5*15=105 cube.
The block set does not affect this number.
