Hi Herc,
Here\'s a question I posted some time ago.
I want to use the \"getscores.php\" script to build a ranking system.
Is there any way to retrieve all the scores, or page the results, or order by timestamp instead of score?
Currently it seems to be limited to the top 1024 scores.
Thanks.

By the way, I also thought a possible solution to the impersonation issue without the need to touch the Blockout II client code or forcing the users to register.
The idea is to use one of the comment lines to enter a secret code. Let\'s say, the user enters this:
Code: Select all
Name : santiago
Comment: Hi! This is my new hi-score
Comment: %mykeyisqwerty
Comment:
Comment:
The line starting with \"%\" is the secret code and should not be shown in the web site. It should be stored in the high scores table, and can be used to discriminate scores from another user using the same name.
Obviously, each user should use the same name and secret key consistently.
OK, that\'s just a quick idea and I may be missing something. It\'s not the final solution but as you can see it does not require updating the client code, only the web site code.
I have some time available to work on that if you want.
