Hi!
I think the number of blocks per level depends on the pit size.
In OOC (5x5 pit) it\'s 150 blocks per level.

Re:Videos of your fingers while playing Blockout...?
Oh no, I don\'t suspect anyone playing faster than me of cheating. But - when someone new turns up, instantly occupying place 1, 2 and 3, playing faster, way faster than everyone else, and garnishing his feats with sneering remarks, this naturally raises suspicions. I\'ve been under suspicion as wel...

Re:Videos of your fingers while playing Blockout...?
Yes, ASD rotation only. And I use all 8 movement key on the numpad. BTW, did you notice that in the detail statistics, the scaling for the \"Instantaneous BPM\" graph goes 0-25-50-75-100 for almost all players, except one, where it goes 0-50-100 and then some headroom (120, I guess), becau...

Re:Videos of your fingers while playing Blockout...?
Like this? Link to Blockout II Video on YouTube It took some trying to get a decent score, somehow it\'s not the same with a camera looking over your shoulder. And I\'m afraid the camera didn\'t cope too well with the LCD brightness. As for fingers moving on the keyboard, it looks more like twitchin...

52 bpm in Out Of Control?
Congrats, sc, I\'m very impressed. :s_bravo:
But, I must say, considering how far above average 52bpm is in OOC, also a little sceptical...
It seems the future of BlockOut belongs to people with superhuman speed.

Re:Unofficial "Blockout II World Rankings" goes li
The problem with large pits is that it takes so long to fill them, you need to keep your concentration for a long time. Also it takes more keystrokes to move a block across the pit, that is my problem in 6x6x18 and 7x7x18 level 9. I can\'t move the block in position fast enough if the pit is not emp...

Re:Unofficial
They probably set an arbitrary limit at 250k or 260k to separate FAN from OOR. They describe FAN category as \"players who reach their scores the ordinary way\" and OOR as \"players with special capabilities\", which in my opinion means implying the OOR players are cheating, i.e....

Re:Unofficial "Blockout II World Rankings" goes li
OOR ist \"out of reach\".

Hi Boris! Am I missing something? Punishment? Slow speed?? Projections??? You also wrote some score comments about using Pause???? I am really curious - what is all this about? Worum geht es dabei? Ich verstehe nur Bahnhof, echt keine Peilung. Für mich spielt sich BO2 genauso wie das alte BO, vielle...

Re:8 x5's
I am Michael Rothe, and that OOR score is probably mine, but an old and fairly low one. I also was the first with a 300k+ score in OutOfControl on blockout.de, but they removed it later without explanation. I sent other, higher scores to blockout.de, but they didn\'t put them in their list. Frankly,...

Cool, thanks!
Could you also create a second list with only the highest score for each player, instead of the 5er average?
Cheers, Michael

Re:Your Blockout Story - post it here!
In 1990, I lived in East Berlin. Still do, and fortunately the city has grown together quite well. After the German reunion, while I was in my 2nd year of CompSci at the TU Dresden, I bought my first PC, a 386SX with SVGA color monitor and a whopping 40MB IDE harddisk. And it was about that time tha...

Re:Deleting score...? Good idea
I think delacroixps suggestion is great. Having only one score entry per user per setup/list is perfectly ok. Why would you want to appear in a ranking list with anything less than your current personal highscore? And why appear more than once? So you can be 1st, 2nd and 3rd at the same time? That\'...
